Out of all the Bengali restaurants in Kolkata this is one of the place where u get quality Bengali food with reasonable pricing. Hilsa Fish fry is a must have as seen on the pic they serve the oil in which the hilsa is fried too good . Before you order any food I would recommend you to ask the chef first or the staff as what they recommend based on your taste which will make your experience more better. Bhetki Paturi with Prawn Sorshe was good. Food goes more well with normal steamed rice rather than pulao.
A great place for typical bengali cusine , specially fish . We ordered a mini fish thali it was amazing but we also ordered dhakai chicken and it was literally refrigerator cold . Wasnt a great experience eating chicken though overall it was an average experience Recommend this place only for fish lovers .
Taste was awesome. There are ample seating arrangement. This is just in front of Diamond Plaza mall. Price is justified but the served quantity felt a little bit less on rice. Overall good experience. Will visit again.
For authentic Bengali food, Kasturi is the best option. You should try it because the cuisine is delicious. The Thalis are quite popular there. Although chicken items isn't up to par, fish dishes are fantastic.

So these are the items that I ordered from the restaurant, basically they are main courses but there is no gravy at all and all the food smells like cooked day before yesterday, all poor in smell and taste

It is located opposite side of Diamond plaza Mall on the Jessore Road. Food - Food quality and quantity is superb as per taste. For two people you have to pay between Rs. 1000 to 1500. Here you will get pure Bengali food stuff as you get this type if foods in Bengali marriage and in other occasions. Service - They provides very bad service. You have to wait more than a hour to get your order. There is no waiting area also you have to wait long time to get your table. Sometimes we will get half of your order and the remaining ordered foods you will get after 20-40 mintues later. **Also there is no parking place.
