This is located near by sea beach.. Atmosphere is really good. Stuff behaviour is also polite but service is too delay.. we ordered kasturi's signature dish kochu pata chingri vapa , crab masala and steam rice .. The kochu pata chingri vapa is really deserve high position and the crab masala is outstanding.. Quality of the crab is really good.. It was masaladar spicy in taste ... Good experience.. Recommend ...

When we visited Puri last month, it was a rainy evening. While strolling on the marine drive with the purpose of dining out, we somehow stumbled on this restaurant as the rain again came suddenly. The restaurant is always crowded and has a considerable amount of waiting time. Finally when we dined , the experience was exceptional. The atmosphere was very nice. The service available was okayish with food coming after 25 mins of ordering. The food was excellent, with their expertise more on dhakai bangladeshi cuisines. We ordered a Maharaja Thali which included their most pupular dishes. The kochupata diye chingri and bhetki macher paturi was the best. These two have achieved cult status here among foodies. The rest of the items were pretty good too. Highly recommended for all of you to visit atleast once.

We visited here during our Puri visit in Aug 2023. The restaurant is situated right on Marine Drive beside Hotel Sonali. Its not very spacious and has a high wait time. We had to wait for close to an hour. The service is not up to the mark due to the high footfall. We ordered rice, aloo posto, shukto, katla kalia, mutton dakbanglow, shorshe pomphret and kochu pata diye chingri. All items were good in taste, but quantity was less. Kochu pata diye chingri was really awesome. You can definitely visit one time for the food but not for the service.

I visited this branch at puri very recently. I went there for lunch. When i entered there was an abnoxious smell inside the restaurant and i informed about it. However as i preferred vegetable option on that particular day, i ordered basmati rice, sona mug daal and alu posto. I don't know why this happened to me that when i started to eat Alu posto, it did smell different and looked like that it was not fresh. I ate those food as I was hungry enough due to overnight drive. But that food gave me trouble next whole night as it took time to be digested. I must request the manager not to serve food which is kept in refrigerator. Thanks, next time I'll come again to have tasty fresh food.

You Come here for tasty Bengali food , not for their service These people are minting so much money, they have stopped caring about service and staff attitude. Coming to food, all the items we tried were delicious, quantity and quality justified the price well. Fish Fry : Crispy and Juicy. Each plate has a single fish fry piece, we ordered 3 Chicken Dak Bunglow ( Kasturi Spl) : A very oily, spicy and delicious dish with egg gravy Kochu Pata Diye Chingri Bhapa : I have almost everytime ordered this particular item whenever I come here; the taste being consistently yummy Pabda curry: The size was big, taste was good. Loved it

Good place for pure Bengali cuisine .The food test is good. Size of fish is small .Overall other dishes are good.But all items are not available all the time. Located in Hotel Sonali, ground floor.

I would like to request people to avoid this place, the only good thing about this restaurant is taste, except all are just overrated.Very expensive and quantity is very less. For example in Rs290 chicken kosha you will get only 4 piece chicken which all are also not in sufficient size, in Rs15 you will get a flat roti which you will get from roadside at Rs5 I am sure if you take dinner or breakfast here, you will be half eaten i.e you will be 50% hungry after spending few hundreds rupees.Wouldn't visit again.

Absolutely amazing place and fantastic to the core. All the dishes were amazing and authentic in taste. Gave the real feel of a Bengali place. We ordered thali for veg and non veg. Both came with dal with peas, jhuri bhaja, shukto, papa chutney, rice, In veg thali it has gobi aloo curry and it was the best dish. In non veg thali we had asked for katla kalia and it was good as well. We separately ordered chingri malai curry and it was slightly over sweet. Had nolen gurer ice cream to finish it off. It was also amazing. Located at puri beach, great place to have bengali food, Best part was you can order even single piece malai curry. It was around 180 bucks. Overall great experience.
