I am compelled to give this review a one-star rating, though I wish I could give it even less. My intention in writing this review is to raise awareness among the public. I strongly advise against choosing this hospital for your medical needs. I've had an unfortunate experience here, characterized by poor treatment and financial mismanagement. If you're considering reserving a special room, you might as well forget it, as they'll discharge you and then re-admit you for treatment. This entire process seems more about their bottom line than your well-being. It's disheartening that they prioritize profit over patient care, seemingly indifferent to your pain and time. What's worse, there seems to be a lack of transparency and professionalism in this establishment. The prescription bears the name of a professor, but it's evident that treatment is primarily administered by a rotating cast of students, with little oversight from the main doctor, who appears unaware of their actions. In all my years, I've never encountered a hospital as poorly run and neglectful as this one. Avoid it at all costs for your own health and well-being.

Wost. All are money minded people. Paediatric department is very worst. They will write soo many lab tests and scans for small children which are basically not required. In labs they will not treats kid smoothly. They will inject needlee very roughly which makes children to cry. These peoples are inexperienced. They don't know how to handle small children. They didn't done any proper tests but loot public money. PLEASE NEVER EVER TAKE YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS HOSPITAL THESE ARE LOOTERS HOSPITAL

Decent hospital with good medically experienced staff possee with experienced skills. You need to know whome to contact for the concern else you feel helpless. Knowing a doctor in person is an advantage . I feel these ifs and buts are due to this facility being a college attached to hospital. Pros: skilled techniques . Experiences doctors you should know whome to reach out. Cost is minimum Cons: staffs are rude due to heavy crowd and tight work schedule for all the staffs. You should some how make sure doctor you are attending to is experienced and not new bee. They wouldn't rely on outside test findings.. this will add to time consumed for tests and results.. My take: even if a thin trace of air is circulating in the body experienced doctors make sure you are alive out of life risk

Hi I'm writing these review bcz these hospital doesn't care abt u . Right now I'm sitting near main MRI & I had called yesterday for appointment so they gave me timing of 1'o clock & can u believe it's more than 2 hr's they are telling that we are running late & they don't even apologise.Why the hell u gave appointment timing when y'all can't do the justice for ur timing .Never ever will recommend these hospital in Manipal . Very bad service .

Doctors are good. But nurse's especially night shift nurse's are not cooperate with patients and they will not take care, they will not visit the ward to check the patient conditions. Even though we informed them 3 times to change the empty glucose bottle but they are very neglect and not well trained. Sitting in nurse room and chit chat with other nurse.( specially in surgery ward female section). And everyday they don't change the patient bedsheets. Requesting with the Hospital head please take a necessary action to these nurse's and also they have behavior issue also. Because of this kind of nurse we are getting bad opinion on hospital.

I would have not given 1 star but I studied there and having emotional attachment so star for it. My dad was admitted here under DR shivashankar medicine department. He is a such a arrogant, ill mannered, disrespectful person who is black dot for doctors profession. He is money minded and treat people like a animals. Even you can see good respect in government hospitals but here you get nothing. We discharged my dad and admitted in other private hospitals. Please don't ever go to Dr.Shivashankar. Thank you

One of the oldest hospitals of Udupi - Manipal area. Well equipped but poorly monitored and managed. It's a financial hell once admitted and the Cardiac ICU treatment is not very good with faulty equipments.. Lack of any access to the patient makes it suspicious as to the genuinity of the treatment.Also the nursing care is very mediocre with many of them frustrated,rude and loud inside the cardiac ICU. Due to countious flow of never ending patients no one is bothered. Neither the doctors nor the management.The Poor patients are the guinea pigs here.

Always crowds. Bad experience. Emergency services were very poor. And big bills. Once enter lots of false checklist. Too much pressure from learning Doctors.
