I recently visited Kasmal, and I wanted to share my experience. Navigating to Kasmal can be a bit confusing as there are two places on Google Maps with similar names - Kasmal Lite and Kasmal Pen. Kasmal Lite, situated 6 km away from Pen city, is primarily known for its beautiful Kaas flowers. However, it doesn't offer much else in terms of attractions. On the other hand, Kasmal Pen, located 7 km further down the road, offers a journey with truly breathtaking views. The scenic drive itself can make the trip worthwhile. It's worth noting that there isn't a specific destination at Kasmal Pen; the road eventually leads to Ratangad Fort. For those seeking outstanding views and natural beauty, I recommend heading towards Vyagreshwar Temple, which is 2 km ahead of Kasmal Pen. There, you'll find waterfalls and stunning scenery. The road to Kasmal is suitable for four-wheelers, but do keep in mind that parking can be a bit challenging. Lastly, if you plan to visit as a couple, exercise caution, as I've noticed groups of young people engaging in drinking parties in the area. Overall, Kasmal has its unique charm with its natural beauty, but it's essential to plan your trip carefully and be aware of these aspects before you go.
A beautiful place to visit and enjoy monsoon. This is the place where you can go along with your loved one and enjoy the beauty of nature. You can view the whole Pen city as well as the khopoli view and the alibaug view. This is a wonderful place. You can play cricket, volleyball and other outdoor games here. The road towards the kasmal is narrow, so you need to drive carefully. Must visit place and enjoy the nature.
Truly a hidden gym away from Mumbai This place lies in Pen, between Mumbai and Alibag/Goa which makes it a must halt spot. The view is serene, makes it worthwhile. Dedicate 4 hours for you trip here though.
Heaven fall on earth... Special in rainy season it's like your in heaven... Also Every morning from here are really refreshing your mind....... Best place so far I visited in my life. Best view, best nature. Evrything any one can asked. Don't forgot to visit vyaghreshwar temple. One thing to remember carry your water, food..
