The Panchkot Raj Palace remains open for public visit during the Durga Puja days , the crowd reaching peak on Astami and Navami afternoons. The descendants of the Royal family still live here and Durga Puja happens here for 16 days instead of 4 days , the dynasty worshipping Lord Rama as their deity. It is opened to the public during Mahadurg Puja festival. And there is a huge crowd here to see this Kashipur Raj Bari. And I go here every year.

The architecture of the building is mind blowing,You can fill the vives of old days ,The Main building is still now in good conditions . But you can visit the place only in Durga puja . If you want to visit in other time you need special permission
