Nice The museum contains many historical things from Shri Shivaji Maharaj era, Mughal, Rajput used things like swords, guns, utensils, coins etc. The museum is arranged in built by Gavand family but not maintains that much good,ok ok..apart from museum the place is well built and have some meditation facility too. While you visit Satara or on the way to the most famous waterfall Thoseghar do not forget to visit this museum. Its on the way to Thoseghar waterfall near Borne gaon so you will not have to spend much kms to goto this place.

Very good historical museum. It's unnoticeable from outside but has huge historical collection inside ranging different periods different geographical areas. Must stop over while passing near by or even for explicit visit. Nominal entry ticket is worth.
Must visit, If you are Planning to visit thoseghar waterfall , sajjangad fort. Entry fee 20 rs only and this is worth when you see antiques
