Next to Bangladesh border Powerful kali temple pedas are awasome. Temple vibes are vibrant.
This popular Shakti Shrine is 31 away from Agartala and is located beside the international border of our neighbouring country, Bangladesh. The serene lake in front of the temple ads to the enigmatic charm of this place.
The Kamaleshwari Temple is located in a beautiful lake known as the Kamalasagar and it is about 25 kilometres away from Agartala. The Kamaleshwari Temple is dedicated to Goddess Kali, the goddess of Shakti. Goddess Kali is the principal deity in Tripura and for this reason the Kamaleshwari Temple is also known as the Kasba Kali Bari by the local population. The temple is always crowded since many devotees and tourists from around the world visit the temple. The temple was built in the 15th Century and the worshipping of the Goddess Kali is still carried out following the rituals of the royal lineage. The temple is located near the border of Bangladesh and the location is really beautiful surrounded by green grassland and a relaxing lake which is also one of the main tourist attractions with a scenic beauty of great serenity.Just near the kamalasagar lake we can heard the whistle of the trains from Bangladesh , what a memorable & mesmerizing ambiance it is. Pera sweets which are available near the temple are very tasty & of good quality too. Overall my experience is amazing and a must visit who are visiting Tripura. To reach the Kamaleshwar Temple from Agartala one need to hire a taxi from Agartala or can take a mode of public transportation from Agartala to Ambassa and Kamalpur.
Devoti is always infinity & our sanatan dharma is also infinity. The place is always attractive.

An iconic and divine temple located at the Indo-Bangla border. The temple premise has a incredibly good vibes to it that remained unchanged since my childhood days. The Kamala Sagar lake continues to serve the devotees. Also, there is now provision for two wheeler parking with minimum cost of Rs 20. However, the road after few kms from Madhupur is worse. Especially those travelling with a two wheeler having a stiff suspension set up further degrades the journey. I went with my relatives Tvs Ntorq and the ride ended up being super jittery and relatively unpleasant to my liking. I wish the respective govt improve the road infra as Kasba Temple is a major landmark of Tripura. Lastly, once you approach Debipur area, mobile network goes for a toss! My Jio network abruptly gave up. So, you should be watchful and ensure you visit with an acquaintance. Also, the road remains empty for majority of the stretch as you approach the temple but you'll be greeted with dense forest!!
Kamalasagar Kali Temple, is built on a hill-top by Maharaja Dhanya Manikya in the late 15th century. It is situated just beside the Bangladesh border. The lake in front of this temple rightly enhances its beauty. The deity to whom the Kamaleshwari Te
