U can see how Traditional Kerala Sari are made here & u can buy them too.. We bought Kasavu Sari (Kerala Sari) & Mundu (Kerala Dhoti) to remember our Kerala trip.. Kasavu Sari price range starts from Rs.750.

We bought south Indian style sarees from here. They had a variety of prints available and staff was working hard to showcase all of them. I really doubt that one would go without taking at least 1 saree from here.

This place was on the way from Alleppey to Kumarakom and vice versa. It has handloom machines and they make authentic Kerala sarees, lungi and dresses for children. They have a good variety in sarees and lungi and it's their forte but other than that not much you can find. I found it a little expensive but then since they make it from scratch maybe it'll be worth it.. I still have to use it to see the worth

I am not sure if they were expensive but I bought many sarees from here and loved the service!

Prices are a little bit high. I thought all their sarees and dress materials are made through the looms which are placed at the entrance way to that Kasavu Aalayam Handlooms shop, but after I went to this shop and purchased some sarees then I know that the looms are just for show. Any way their sarees are really good and especially their staff are too good. Even you will keep on telling them to show me more designed sarees then they will keep on show us as long as you find your liked saree without a little bit of irritation in their facial expressions and body language.

Easily identifiable place from boat house. On the road itself. Different collection of keralite dresses. Full of hand loom clothing. Especially series and shorties are lots of variety. Staffs are nice and explaining. Air con interior. Car parking facilities available. All credit and debit cards are acceptable here. Also maintaining neat and clean.

A showroom where manufacturing is done and saree, dress material, shirt, shirt piece are available. The quality is good and pure.

The sarees are too expensive and they lie, they lied that the saree and dhoti are pure cotton, they aren't. I unfortunately didn't have the sense then and bought purely for aesthetic purposes. Thank goodness didn't buy the silk ones there, i am sure they are also not pure silk. Overall I think the stop is given here because the drivers get some commission.
