Kasara Ghat, also known as Thal Ghat, is a mountain pass situated near Igatpuri in Maharashtra that links Nasik to Mumbai. Perched at a height of 585 metres, Kasara Ghat is surrounded by lush green hills and enchanting natural beauty adventurists.
You can enjoy a small trek in the hills and find your way to the nearby waterfalls that are an epitome of natural beauty. Covered in fog, the place looks like a slice of heaven brought on the earth.
This is on the return side of the Ghat. There is ample of space to park (PARKING). But its still at the side of the road be smart and stop as close to the shoulder as possible. The views are stunning. Provided its not a hazy day. I'd say best time is between 10:00 am and 01:00 pm. There are crazy big speed rumblers so be sure to keep an eye out for them. It is also a very busy stretch during the mornings and evenings. Choose your time to visit wisely.

This is a lovely spot to stop by on the way to Nasik from Mumbai. It is right in the middle of Kasara ghats and the view is amazing in rainy season. Stop by, have some garma-garam bhutta and chaai and then take some selfies!
This dhaba has potential to grow, nice food, space around, I would recommend not to convert to hotel rather be dhaba. People prefer dhaba the Desi taste, hotels we have many on this road, I see greater scope in dhaba.. tnx!
