It's a small beautiful port located in Karnataka Goa border, Hills and coastal islands make the port a natural harbour, sheltered from the Arabian sea.
Really was lucky to see this place it's restricted area vistors are not allowed die to security reasons
I crossed the port in the morning around 8 while on ma trip to Murudeshwar the scenic beauty was picture perfect everything was so amazing the weather view the fish folks bustling with their work.would rate it 4 on 5. On returning the port around 5 in the evening I was shocked to see the incident where 2 folks were taking a dump on the port in open. It was not jus that once they wer done with their business dey cleaned dem self in the water. It was such a disgusting site to see this incident. It total ruined ma impression abt the place.
It is still to be developed under sagarmala project. Only two big ships can accommodate at a time. Under sagarmala more then 7 ships will be accommodated.
This is Small port open some years ago beside National Highway 66 so easily visible and accessible. When this port open they give permission to entrance even for common public. But I don't think they giving permission to entrance in port compound now. This port is not much deep so it is not possible to big ship comes

It's a beautiful port at Goa-Karnataka border. While the beach is very clean, the weather is beautiful, you can see local fisherman's as well as Indian Navy ships quite often.
