Karohi Haveli - Hotel in Udaipur - Udaipur, India

We stayed for three nights in late October 2023. We globally loved it. The hotel was apparently expanding with a new wing and an elevator shaft but there wasn't any noise disturbance in the morning or in the evening. the rooms are big and tasteful with some colorful decoration and old fashioned furniture, the pool is nice and clean (although a bit on the cold side in late October), and the hotel has a nice rooftop restaurant with a wide range of Northern Indian dishes and a breathtaking view. The reception was also very helpful in having medicine delivered directly to the hotel. Finally, the reason why we haven't given 5 stars to "rooms" and "service" is that hot water was pretty hard to come by, especially in the morning. the location, however, was perfect: within walking distance of the City Palace but far enough of the busy streets around it. On the whole, we do recommend booking this hotel which does possess undeniable charm among other very good parts.

Location is very good, all important tourist places are within 2-3 kms. Service was quite good. They let us check in early and let us wait in their lobby after we checked out, for our train that was in the evening. The food in the restaurant is quite good and the view from the rooftop is worth watching!! Overall, worth the money!!

On our check out day the sort of chubby Young man with moustache, light eyes and ear studs (I think) refused to give us the small mineral water bottle because he said - it's check out day and you won't get it. We could have bought one too, but such a small mentality. The owners are very nice and friendly probably unaware of how some of their staff treats the guests. Great location, great comfort, good food - most of it. When the lift gets ready it would be easily accessible for seniors to go up and down the Haveli, right now the waiter does bring the food down for seniors in the ground floor rooms, although he too threw a bit of a tantrum one day. The views are fabulous- both from the rooms and the restaurant. The Haveli temple has good energy. Do buy mineral water bottle on check out day! :-)

Not at all value for money. No lift. They do not provide shaving or dental kit. Room provided side lake facing which they will not let you know at the time of booking. I travelled with my family. Will not recommend. Bathroom size too small. Not well maintained.

Brilliant... Choose this one for your Udaipur visit. Good vibes. Well maintained rooms and pool and common areas. The only thing lacking is there is no lift, but construction is going on and will be installed in some days. Overall brilliant and we would love to stay.

Just like the name..you'll feel like you are staying in a royal haveli. Spacious rooms classic interior with wooden furniture. Amazing view of the lake from the rooms. Best part if the rooftop restaurant which provides breathtaking views of the lake and udaipur. Unlike alot of hotels in this area this one offers good parking space for cars. Food was good. Staff was professional. Totally worth the money you'll be paying. Posting picture to give you a better idea of this place

The Karohi haveli is a stunning traditional house, it is large with a courtyard in its center. We enjoyed the beauty of the place very much. One downside was that the internet was not reaching in our room and the swimming pool was not super clean. But otherwise lovely stay and great location

Best in class hotel in whole Udaipur and view is absolutely amazing and rooftop restaurant also have very beautiful view . You have don't want to go outside of this hotel for rooftop view literally you have all udaipur view all from sides. Definitely you too visit this hotel
