Had a great time here in September 2019. Kayaking was amazing. I took a single occupancy kayak, so had to kayak all the way till the end by myself. It was very tiring. One suggestion would be to take a second person. And the almost 10 kilometre stretch was just too much. But the journey, the view, the thrill , everything was worth the pain. Going with the group added to the fun. A must visit if you crave adventure and won't mind the struggle and risk. You won't regret this one. Cheers.

Had a wonderful weekend in the backwaters of Shambhavi river. Sushant a.k.a Kayakboy was very supportive throughout, from the first time I pinged till I left the place. He is knowledgeable and made sure we had fun during the trip, was never in hurry and tolerated us and still maintained timings. Would recommend people to experience this atleast once.

Reached here after 10kms of Kayaking. Very well located near the river and in a peaceful village. Local Tulu food which we received was also very good. Overall great arrangement by Sushant and team. This was a lifetime experience for us.

Best place to chill and relax while kayaking with Kayakboy.in It's a stopover in the middle of River Shyambhavi while kayaking for lunch and snacks.

Anyone who is a family of water sports or adventure should definitely try this.

I had taken part in this adventure. The kayaking is not really demanding, nor a easy one. We started around 8 and in morning and was in lunch point by 12, took break and started at 4 towards the dam. Had amazing view of sunset from Kayak. The home food served is good and the camping location is peaceful. There are lots of jellyfish in the river which is good observation for marine creature observers. I was curious to see if the jellyfish would glow and started the return ride at 4 in morning. But the river was glowing as we were paddling. Yes the strange phenomenon where the special bacteria in water glows under stress happens in this river. It was such a amazing time to paddle in glowing water. We were kids again playing in the water. We reached back the base by 9 the next day morning. Still a large part of my weekend was pending so caught a local bus to udupi and later to malpe, St Mary's Island. A must try Kayak ride :)
