Karma Martam Retreat - Resort hotel in Martam - East District, India

We stayed for 4 days at Karma Martam Retreat and is very well impressed with the cleanliness and vibe of the place and courtesy of all the staffs especially Mr. Rizwan. The buffet was delicious. This is the best place if you wish to take a break from your busy schedule and just relax in a small village. It's far away from gangtok but is a serene place best for relaxation and a quiet family time. The rooms and the property is well maintained especially the swimming pool. Would really choose karma for our next vacation

We travelled as a couple, as a Karma group member expected more as per our previous experiences. The rooms were ok, the bathroom was small. Every thing needs an upgrade Service was satisfactory, the food not that great, buffet dinner and breakfast didn't really have too many options and really didnt tickle the taste buds. Haven't had a buffet dinner where there was only 1 dessert. On our request they cooked up some dudhi ka halwa, which was pretty ordinary. The library was pretty good and that's a plus because you're in the middle of nowhere and if you are game for a hike to the waterfall ( bar changey, definitely worth it) and walking around the village thats about it.

Best hotel visit in Sikkim tour near Gangtok. Atmosphere & climate around hotel was too good. All members are friendly & helpful and doing his job very nicely. Hotel Rooms, Dining Hall, Play Rooms like carrom, Table Tenis, Playing Cards, Chess was too Awesome. Specially Swimming Pool was so attractive to get people inside in the Swimming Pool. Food was tasty. Specially Local Chicken Masala was too yummy. we got breakfast and Dinner. View from Rooms Balcony looking like wow. mountains & rice farm view from gallery. Rooms are specious and very cleaned. we have some accessories like hair dryer, cloths, Shaving Kit.

One can surely visit here to spend few days in a peaceful, cool and calm environment. Best place for relaxation of mind from over crowded city. Rooms are very good. You can enjoy delicious buffet and good room service here.

We had come here for our first anniversary (may 15th) and the staff had arranged a cute surpise for us. literally Martam retreat has the best staff and surprisingly they had open this branch very recently . They are very polite and humble especially Mr Tashi, he made us very comfortable and guided us on the itinerary told about their culture , food etc and Mr Abhishek who was managing the restaurant really well. The rooms are very clean, and the view from the resort is just beautiful. If anybody is planning to visit Sikim this is the place where u need to stay.

Awesome resort, location and views are superb. Rooms are super big and luxurious specially the bed ..

The cost performance was good. The service is very good, and the hotel's people were warm hearted. and the food is also good. But the only thing is that the power cuts very often times each day. So we were very annoyed by that. Sometimes we couldn't charge our devices at night. But other things were very good and I liked this hotel.
