Karkotak Mandir in Bhimtal offers a divine experience amidst breathtaking natural beauty. Surrounded by stunning views, the visit was both spiritually enriching and visually mesmerizing.
Beautiful trek route, there are two ways to it. One is by car, which makes the trek route only 3 kms otherwise the other route is proper jungle trail of around 5-6 kms. The view from here is Mesmerizing and crazy. You can see BHIMTAL, NAUKUCHIYATAL & HALDWANI.
One of the Highest places in Bhimtal to get a bird's eye view .. it is a village accessible by trekking and also a road connects to the place with half walking path . You get to watch the lakes of bhimtal and naukuchiatal from the place and the surrounding areas. Mandir is accessible to all at any time . People also camp alongside the hill.
Dedicated to Naag Devta, the temple is a must visit for the amazing views it offers! Located a top a hill, Karkotak Temple is a 3 km interesting trek from Bhimtal and you will be accompanied by amazing scenic views all through your journey and the area around the temple is also a preferred site for camping. It takes around 2 hours of trekking with friends or family. Imp: + must carry water with you because there is no shop on the way. + Be prepared during summer days. + The views are magnificent from here. + Naukuchiatal & Bhimtal is clearly visible from here. + Must carry a good camera with you to capture the views. + Sunrise & sunset are unforgettable from here .
Best place in bhimtal region to embrace serenity. In our college time, we went there more than 20 times. It's a very good place for camping, you can enjoy the beauty of distant mt. panchachuli peak from here. Sunrise and sunset is just beyond explanation form here.
Good place to go to for trekking. Nice all round view of whole of Bhimtal and also Haldwani is visible from the top. Not for children and old age people as climbing can be bit difficult.
Best trekking site and view is awesome ! Both, bhimtal and naukuchiyatal can be seen from there. Worth a visit.
Average trek to the highest point of Bhimtal. Would love the view from there.
