Awesome place, there is a nice climb to the top on steps. A small pond and a small waterfalls add to the beauty. The temple inner gates open only after 5:30 pm. Unfortunately we couldn't wait that long as we had reached the spot at 4 pm itself.
Best place to visit. Everyone visit this place. It was 23 kilometers from BC Road. There is 2 way to visit. like pedal and through vehicle also. When we like pedal it almost takes 1000 to 1200 steps are available.
A beautiful and calm place. This place had so many monkeys. There is small shop selling snacks and soft drinks.
Do climb the steps and visit the Shiva temple on the hilltop. It's very worth it.

Karinja temple is an extremely beautiful place for hiking and stuff. I had gone trekking there and OMG the view from the top is amazing. If you are going with your family then I would recommend to start climbing the steps from the middle , cause there a lot of steps. And most of your time will be wasted in climbing the place itself. Also there are a lot of monkeys in and around the place. So beware of your belongings. As long as you don't tempt or taunt the monkeys in any way you'll be fine. Also it's fun to watch those monkeys. They even got some nice haircuts (literally). And photos that you get there are crazy gud with the sun in the background. And also I would recommend the roast thuppa dosa that you get at the entrance to the temple road if you are hungry.
