Nothing available at this store at 7:30pm on 16/05/23 .Also no staff available. Only biryani was available then we ordered that it was burnt and so bad smell available but that too .I think you should focus at this store .Thanks

The food is not upto the mark for which Karim's is known for. Too much unwanted spices for the well known dishes. Moreover the space is too small, won't accomodate much people at a time, even the kitchen is too close to the dining area that all the smoke and alike things come directly to you.

Eating at Karim's was an experience I will cherish for a very long time. Great atmosphere for a family to have a get together plus the food is phenomenal. I loved the Burrah and spicy mutton jehangiri a lot and would make sure that I visit very often to have just these . All the tandoori dishes were mouth watering as well. Can't wait to go back.

Went there for lunch last weekend on the way to pahalgham , the quality of food is amazing at this place. Reminds you of the authentic Karim's in Delhi and it's great to have same quality food available in Kashmir. Items from tandoor are definitely to be tried. The menu is quite simple but all those authentic dishes from Old Delhi Karims are on there with ditto same taste. Go there for the food more than anything else, highly recommended!

Food was good both quality and quantity wise, still can do better in quality section..

Was surprised to see Karim's at Anantnag. The restaurant is on the first floor. Seating was not comfortable. Interior and ambience nothing much to talk about. Had Mutton Kabab and Keema with rice. Kabab is highly avoidable. Keema was too spicy. In the cold weather with temperature hovering around 4 degrees I was sweating while eating keema. The bill was on a cash receipt as per the owner the bill book is not ready reason for the same the restaurant is just two week old!!!!! My experience below average. However shall still give benefit of doubt to the restaurant at it carries Karim's name so maybe other dishes are better. Anyways I didn't try them.

It was great in terms of taste,texture and hospitality. I feel I was eating original staying at Delhi .thanks Karims Anantnag for this lovely treat and cherish our Memories of old Karims Delhi.i suggest and recommend all of you to visit once and taste...!!!!

The Mughals would not have even dreamed off that their cooks, in coming times will be making history of their own. The central Asian Dynasty founded by the Baber was determined unlike other invaders to rule India making it permanent Home. Since there were no clear cut guide lines laid by the Mughals for their legal heir to access the throne, there were always severe fights among the heirs to claim the throne.... perhaps on the theory of the FITTEST SURVIVE. Thus lately after the death of the Mughal King Aurangzeb Alamgeer, the political disorganization enabled the British to grab the whole of India easily. The Mughlai food developed under the patronage of the Mughal Kings and Queens using the Indian spices; when the Mughals made India their permanent homeland. The end of this prestigious royal employment came to an end during the year of mutiny 1857, when the last Mughal King Bhadur Shah Zafer was dethroned. The Karim's ancestors to save themselves from the fury of the British, fled from the Lal Qila and took shelter in the vicinity now called Farukhnagar, district Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, there they lived in disguise trying the different types of livelihood, simultaneously the father never forgot to inherit the fine art of cooking the "Royal Food" to his son. In 1911, when Delhi Durbar was held for the coronation of the King George V, Haji Karimuddin moved back to Delhi with an innovative idea of opening a Dhaba to cater the people coming from allover India to join the coronation. Haji Karimuddin started the Dhaba selling just two items of Alu Gosht and Daal served with Rumali Roti. In 1913, Haji Karimuddin Established the Karim Hotel in Gali Kababian, Jama Masjid, Delhi saying, "I want to earn fame and money by serving the royal food to the common man". Allah has 99 names and Karim is one of them. It is because of this very name, Karim is growing day by day.
