Kargil Vijay Smarak Statue - Tourist attraction in Silchar - Cachar, India

It is situated at the tri-junction of th E&D colony. It's is made in the respect of the armed forces that fought the 1971 Bangladesh war. I feel very proud every time I see it. It's the status and monument like this that make us feel the heroic past that we had and the sacrifices that our armed forces have done for us..

Though I don't go around there often but when I do it is purely for excursion or leisure time spending. What I like about is the statute itself, it feels majestic to even stand in front of it capturing the might and rigor of our kargil jawans. The staute is made with extreme crafmanship. But what I don't like about that place is the surroundings. It is like cesspool, everywhere are pot holes, the road is cracking from all the sides, the store keepers and footpath goods sellers are clamouring persistently all of these give a very bad impression to whoever that might be there.

This Is A Very Historical Place To All The People. This Are The Who Fight In The Kargil War Between India And Pakistan And Lost Their Life And Also Make Our Country Proud And Kargil Is The Most Important War In The History Of India. At last I Would Say "JAI HIND"
