All in all it was a nice experience to have seen a bit of the dessert and I really enjoyed the cultural program, but the rest of the tour was really disappointing. To start of for the money we paid I expected a well maintained car with AC und a driver who is not on the phone 24/7. Then we had a 30 minute Camel ride to the sunset point, we got told we would sit on the camel for 1h. Then we left before sunset to return to the camp within 10 minutes. The food was okay. The night we slept outside in the dunes, which was nice but really windy so I was cold and couldn't get another blanket. In the morning we got woken up by a running car, not even a nice good morning by the guy. I'm really sad about how the safari turned out and I'm also not sure if you can call this a safari, more like a short camel ride with a cultural program at the base. Maybe it was also a misunderstanding because we thought we would ride out into the desert with the camels and eat and sleep out there to ride back the next day with all our things. But if you are adventures and have camped outside before I advise you to go out into the desert yourself or message the camps out there and arrange something with them. Probably all tours they offer are almost the same :/

We took an afternoon half day desert safari from Karan. The experience was really great, initially we were hesitant to book, as it was a night safari and return to club Mahindra Jaisalmer is a question of concern. However after reviewing others feedback on google, we went for it, as the pricing was competitive as well as the hospitality. I recommend Karan Desert Safari shall be a must try if you are planning to travel to Jaisalmer. Also like to thank Kailash, who took the pain to pick us up from our resort and drop us with utmost care.

Owner Mr Karan is very friendly by nature and having an experience in hospitality he assures you to have good experience of dessert camping and jeep or camel safari in sam sand dunes Accommodations provided by them is very well maintained with swimming pool and Ac rooms. Service is also very good there.

I had a great experience with karan Desert Safari. Mr. Kailash arranged a wonderful night safari with overnight stay in an un-touristy style where we slept under a blanket of stars. The experience was surreal. Next day we drove to Longewala where we got a chance to see the border. Overall a great experience. He made sure the entire experience was amazing. I definitely recommended them for your next safari camp

we did the camel safari and the luxury overnight stay. if you haven't been on a camel you really should try it! it is a strange beast, and even just sitting on it as it rises from it's knees--the camel sits down so you can mount it--is like a carnival ride! i hadn't been to a desert in 20 years, and then only once, and i'd forgotten the deep feeling of peace there. when i lay down on the ground for a moment, i felt glued to the earth. as for the luxury part, yes, it's true. the tents were clean, the food was delicious, and the staff made us feel like family. the traditional music and dance were very enjoyable, and i was even among those who got up to dance along! by the way, i'm 67 years old, and i found the whole trip to be easy, comfortable, and fun. so if you're a little older and you're wondering if you can do this trip, unless you have very obvious physical problems, you probably can.

It was wonderful experience except for rooms. I was disappointed after entering the tent. I was told that it was Swiss tent. I don't know what they mean by that. There were only basis facilites available. Food was tasty. We enjoyed our dinner and breakfast. Staff was very helpful Ramesh was our guide . Intelligent, helpfull and very cooperative. He is also very good photographer. I request the management next time when somebody asks for glasses for water then provide them with glasses of steel or glass.w

had a great experience staying at the camps!! Sandbashing is the best adventure one can go for!! Must visit.
