Sea water is not well.. Looks like highly polluted. Compare to chennai beaches water condition is worst.. Kids, adult friendly park also there. If you want to shover/ play in sea water means karaikal beach is not suit for you. Just want to enjoy only view the sea means its a correct place.
A good place for evening time pass. As the waves are high at sometimes, there's police deployed to take care. They don't allow ppl to take photos at some dangerous points. Beautiful beach to spent your evenings. But beware of snakes in the rocks. It's a little away from bus stand karaikal. And you may not get proper lunch or dinner in that area. So make food plan in the city itself.
That was very lovely beach. There was a path onto the beach with rocks if u go in the morning you can see beautiful sunrise like sunrise in kanyakumari .you can also do walking in the morning and evening there are so many people who does. And also in the evening there will be a snack area where u can find ice-creams,chat,soup...toys..and what's not.the beach road also very pleasant u will feel like ur the only one in the eath.if u go on cloudy days it will be fantastic even its day time.only nyt time mainly Saturday ND Sunday lots of people will be there otherwise not that many people will be there.
