Kaprikkad, Ernakulam - Museum in Kodanad - Ernakulam, India

Kaprikkad is a very good place to visit for a day. You can watch Sambar Deer, Deers and Elephants there. Paved roads, shade of bamboo , lonely paths across the woods which will make your day.

Rarely visited attraction by tourists. Access is little difficult and the roads is narrow. Needs to put sign boards. Park is good and its left as it is in order to avoid maximum human touch. Main attraction is elephant camp and you could see 5 or more elephants. There are some deers and variety of the same. A river by gives it the completeness of a natural park where the elephants may take a bath. Kids park is set with some aminities.

Peaceful place Located within 20km from perumbavoor. Anyone can easly come by Own vehicle or using public transport. Somany buses are available from MC road( vallam Junction ) to Palli padi(Near by bustop - Elephant training camp, Just 1.3 km). Then you can pick an auto to the destination. At kodanad we should pay Parking fee and Entry Fee. We can watch Mini zoo, elephants, Deers and many type of trees are there.. Especially red sandal, other forest trees. Always this location an good option for those are seeking for an escape from City traffic and rush. We can easily spend morethan 3 hours there without any bore. But we cant touch elephant's or deers. We can see them.. There are 2-3 restaurants inside the premises.

A forest ambience with some animals including elephant, sambar deer, and hippo. You can see the elephants given bath in the afternoon.

Nice and calm area..

It'd a very clam place. Fresh air . Good for a family trip

Love this place but not muchu to see here .. it's good for couples and also family. It's not a good place to visit for youthful ones.
