This spot is one of my favourite spot in the kapathlgudda mountain range. This place is one of the few official entries to start the trek to reach the top. Choose non rainy day for the visit.road gets undriveable in rainy reason. There is an entry fee now costs in the range of 50 to 250rs. I would suggest 4 wheel drive cars, 2 wheel drive cars with better ground clearance. Bikes without pillion recommend due to gravel roads and with pillion the bike may skid. You will enjoy the bike ride, scooter not recommended.once you reach you will be thrilled with the off roading the approach offers. Once you reach the top, you will not get anything like drinking water or snacks, it's a pl rotected zone and plastic is banned here. Enjoy the shirt trip of gadags own hillstation. This place has its own ecosystem.
