The road leading to the area with Coconut trees is completely broken. There area around the beach is decent enough. There are several small shops with Tea / snacks - Local shops decent enough. Overall it's a good place to be. People in general are polite and friendly.

Clean and neat beach. Some spots have entry fees. They have paid parking. Not too busy like other beaches.

Great Beach to hang out with family and friends.. Sunset is awesome from this beach.. Vasco da Gama landed this shore when he came to India.. Very nice place for evening hangouts..

Very nice beach, a neat n clean beach. No crowd Must visit it. But u may get sunburn or sun tan. Evening time is best after 4 pm. Avoid morning and afternoon time. First Blue Flagged Beach in Kerala. Apt for sunset hues. The waves are child friendly at certain parts of the beach most of the time. Better to stay away during holidays and festivals as it will be too crowded on such days. Parking facilities are not up to the mark. Several places to experience local cuisine as well. A quiet, beautiful beach a short drive away from the city. Kappad is historically famous for Vasco Da Gama, though that is just a footmark as far as the visitor is concerned. There is nothing apart from an unremarkable obelisk to mark the event. Can't say that it is much of a problem. The Kappad beach consists of a limited beach in actuality. However, the little that is available between the pulimoods is well kept. There is a ticketed park area built as a platform at the beach. It is a good place to hang out and bring your kids. Further down the road the rocky part of the beach. It is delightful to see how the rock is barricaded for safety while still allowing visitors to enjoy the stunning view, enthralling sunset, and refreshing breeze while marveling at the rocks they stand on. The sandy beach close by is again small in comparison to many others in the region, but quite neat and beautiful. The sea for the most part is also calm. As usual, there can be more attention to waste disposal and cleanliness, though it is much better than the city beaches.

The beach is pretty clean so please don't make it dirty , kindly pls don't throw garbage. kindly consider it as a request pls don't make this beach dirty same as the main beach , as people are less here the beach is clean, with white sand , and comparing the main beach which is present in the city crowd with all the city traffic , here it more of a rural type with less pollution and less city crowds , lot of space available for resting and if gone some more forward you can see a temple there and also a petrol pump . And big rocks are also present at the seashore which makes it more gorgeous.

Amazing beach. Can't swim unfortunately. Weekends are very crowded usually. Go at the end near Renai Kappad beach for a very good experience. Ample parking space available as well.

The cleanest beach I have ever visited in Kerala, But they are charging 1000/- rupees for still camera, which is very shocking
