We visited the sunrise point in the morning and witnessed the spectacular event. The sky was clear and one should reach the place at least 20 minutes early to secure a good place to see the sunrise. It's an open place without any entry tickets.
This is a fantastic sunrise view point at Kanyakumari. Sunrise view is better to watch and gives a thrilling experience than sunset. Raising of a sun star early in the morning with reddish and yellowish or mixing tinge background and sun as a circle entity bringing brightness gradually is amazing to watch here. When the silence prevails over this process brings lot of joyfulness.
It's a beautiful spot to spot on the sunset If you are lucky enough,the sea waves would be calm and very little clouds so that you can witnes the sun diving into the ocean. They will ask you to pay 40 rupees to take your car to the sun set point. Use durstbin and keep Kanyakumari clean.
Good place to view sunrise | unfortunately when we went the sunrise happened little late than expected because of clouds we end up waiting more than an hour for sunrise.
It was a great experience in Kanyakumari. It's the best time to visit after 5 pm then it will not have sunlight and have great wind too. Thank you God for giving such an excellent place
Due to clouds we couldn't observe the sunrise. But the place has easy access. The pier is a good walk early in the morning. Very crowded place at 6 am. Great place to get good photos .
