A small beach near Kanyakumari pier. You will get fantastic views on Thiruvalluvar Statue and Swami Vivekananda illam. But the beach is not properly maintained. Can see trashes and garbage scattered around. Also few people play betting cards in the evening (see attached video) which makes this place slightly unsafe for families.
Beautiful beach It's most attracted tourist attraction place in India and also three sea and here very crowded evening time. Very nice place to experience the sunrise in India and three beaches at one place. Must visit place and awesome experience to make memories are beautiful. But beach is not clean. Some people use the sea shore as rest room. Kanyakumari is famous for its temple, churches, Vivekananda memorial, Thiruvalluvar statue, Gandhi memorial etc. It is a place where three seas meet. Any things is there but beach is first place.
Good place for a sunset view, as i had visited there at the time of high tides. There are too many street foods, snacks and chat items available there. There are also shops which sells sea shells and various item found in ocean. There are also many hotels and restaurants available there which provides fresh fish fry at the evening after 7pm. One of the best experience at Kanyakumari beach.
It's better to get out of the hotel incase you are staying as during the midday and towards the evening upto 4 there is intense heat.. Try to get a view from the observation tower, it is worth all the effort you put to reach there through steps. Next thing you don't want to miss is the Vivekananda Rock.
Local people acquire this place, all local people place their boats at this place which make this beach very poor nothing much to see here. The stingy smell, the smell of fish, and many drunken people' are laying over there. It's already very small beach, local government is also not taking care of it. Very poor management near to this area. This place beside to the ferry point. I'll not recommend anyone to spend time here and also request to make complain against the local people who they make beach very disgusting.
