As a non wedding guest this is my review: The place is absolutely safe for solo travellers, me being a woman solo traveller felt very safe. Yes, the rooms have issues of hygiene and other stuff. If you are a hygiene freak or very conscious this is not for you. But if u need a place to crash, hot water, Ac is excellent and manageable washroom. This is the place for a night's pit stop. No fancy services. No WI FI. No room service . For weddings they arrange food and all too. But area is good and you can go out and get food. There is a TV too. I paid 1200 and it was value for money. Hygiene is an issue. Safety is great. That is why I gave them a 4. Once I cribbed they changed towels and all stuff. Hot water was great. If you have a wedding event and lots of people in low med budget this is a good place for u.
Rooms are good. Kanyadan is having huge space for all types of functions. Its having 2 covered halls so no issues in rainy season. Their 'pangat on table' system is lovely(may be it's part of some package).
Let's start from the start: Parking - few spots available outside hotel, around 5 to 6 cars can be parked easily. Reception - Check-in was fine. Asked for ID and signature. WiFi - small strength router, only accessible near reception area. Room - rooms are just okay. With TV, mirror and AC they are just okay to spend a night. Bed is too soft and bit broken at some places, different rooms might have different beds. AC works well, just check the remote before you settle in. Bathroom - Not maintained well. Taps are loose difficult to open or close. Hot water comes late but eventually comes. Commode did not toilet paper or mug with it and the jet spray did not have enough pressure. Conclusion - with no other options at hand the stay can be managed at this hotel. PS - this hotel has a banquet hall and can be a good place for the guests.
The location is easily accessible. Nice place for family functions. Weddings Birthday Parties etc. The rooms area wise are pretty good. The maintainance of the room is the main factor. Broken water taps, the plaster from the ceiling falls sometimes. Except for maintainance and parking everything is fine. Overall quite a good experience.
Excellent service, located at prime location, has its own garden, easily accessible, marriage can be conducted successfully, at least 150 people can Accomodate easily. Auto rickshaw is available. If you plan a stay there there is a Chinese food store in front of it... And many Grossoris stores, medical, bakery shops are on the walk of 200 meters. It is exactly located at ahinsa chowk.
