The falls is situated deep into the woods. You will have to park your bike and Trek for around 2km. Very good for those who love trekking. During monsoon the Terrain becomes slippery. But it is all worth it. The view is so mesmerising. The gushing sound of water, the fog... Damn everything. It is so magical. A heavenly experience! So all I say is the journey to this falls is adventurous but worth it. Thank you... Ps: Pls don't litter
Waterfalls are an amazing natural wonder that I absolutely love. The sound of the water rushing down is so soothing and calming. The mist that comes off of the waterfall feels refreshing and cooling on a hot day. It's a great place to relax and connect with nature, and it's always a breathtaking sight to see.
Last 4 km no proper road. Bikes can go but only off-road capable cars can reach. There is an entry gate opens at 9am. This gate will come around 2km before. From small parking around 500m trek inside jungle with narrow path. But with all these final view was amazing You cannot get in to water and it's too risky but just enjoy the view. Too hot in afternoons Avoid during rainy time as road is too steep for car drive.
Amazing waterfalls.. I would surely suggest to visit this place if you visit yellapur.. It is located about 6 km from main road (vagalli cross).. It is necessary to have your own vehicle as there is no transportation facility available ..We can park our vehicles in the parking area & walk few 500mts.. Beware of leaches..Road condition is poor... Avoid visiting during rainy season
View is beautiful but scary at the same time.... Ne careful... One misstep hoge...
If you can manage the off-road drive to the forest check point, then you can just trek or walk to the river leading to the waterfall. Go early in the morning since no one will be around. The place will blow your mind. The forest, water and the different trees it's madness!! Absolutely loved my alone time at the top of the waterfall! You can stay in Yellapura town close by and also visit few more places nearby like Sathodi falls (quite popular) and Magod falls and even Jenukallu Betta to witness an beautiful sunset from the top.
Heavy rain in July you can trek 3 km nice walking experience, but I don't go in heavy rain because you don't see the real beauty of konur falls. You must be go in April last week or June
It was a awesome place to visit during rainy season...there is a good swimming spot also with well deep ...but be aware of snaks i found one so I'm telling...and awesome nature views you will see...
