One of the famous shaakti pith. There is a pond beside the temple. I went on Monday, dala cost 51/-(dhup, candle, sweets, flower, banana) 101/-(5types of fruits extra), if u wish you can buy.you have to buy ticket for mayer vog , price 50/-. There is no panda system. Large mandir area , In mandir premises different types of shops present, like- handmade items, toys. There is a shiv temple and voirab temple situated beside the temple. Book a Toto from station or hotel. Must visit place.

Kankalitala Shaktipeeth Temple is near to the Sonajhuri or Biswabharati. It's considered as a Satipeeth actually as it's believed that one body part of sati or Maa Durga fell at the place mainly in a small pond beside the temple. Very fascinating stories revolve around the place, for example, the pond is always full of water no matter the weather condition, also people getting strange objects out of the pond indicating mysterious power working there. Overall I really enjoyed the place as no person was bothering us to spend money on the puja process and also it's surrounded by trees giving the place a peaceful and cool environment. No entry ticket is required, it's free for all devotees. There's a dedicated zone for parking of four wheelers and two wheelers and in that place itself, one can buy souvenirs made by locals and also get food and snacks.

Visiting Konkalitala in Bolpur is absolutely worth it. It has a beautiful surrounding and extremely positive ambience. It's disciplined; without any nuisance of priests and pandahs. You will soak into the humility and earthiness of Bolpur, here.

This place holds the vibe of spirituality. I went on a Sunday and yet there wasn't too much rush. They takes the name, Gotro and will give 3mins time for the puja. You have to enchant the mantra after hearing it from him. People has to know the puja timings before planning. Morning puja time: 6am to 12pm and then there's a break time. Puja resume after 3pm and continues until 9pm. Dali costs from Rs51(where you'll not get the mala) up until Rs251(as per the garland prices it varies). There's too many options of having Mayer Vog, but after looking out and speaking with a few locals came to know that, the one which is alongside the mandir is only genuine. You have to buy ticket before 12pm. Price: Rs50. Car parking charges: Rs20. Location: it is 8kms away from bolpur Station. Lots of local handmade items are also available for sale within the mandir ground. But I felt the price on the higher side compared to Sonajhuri Hat.

Very Famous and Auspicious Place near Bolpur Shantiniketan. Here Maa Kali is Worshipped as Maa Kankali as It is believed among the Hindus that the Kankal or Skeleton of Maa Sati had fallen here. And That's why it is also included in the 51 Satipeeth.

Kankalitala Shaktipeeth Temple is one of the Shaktipeeth. It is located near Bolpur. Devotees all over the India come to visit the place. People have to wait in line for long hours. Please recommend to visit earli morning..

This is the last Satipeeth among the 51 Satipeeths of Devi. Here it is believed that Sati's bones have fallen here. This place is moderately crowded. Recommended to plan for a visit early in the morning to avoid the crowd. You can also get to see, dance and enjoy the traditional Birbhum dance. The place is very calm and holds high value for Hinduism. It is a little far from Santiniketan city.. You can book or reserve a local Toto service which will take you to the place and also can be availed for the return journey. Several shops are available outside the temple from where you can buy Devi offerings and Prasad. Also you can keep your footwear in the same shop until you return.
