Reaching to this Temple is a bit tricky. No car reaching way towards temple. Don't rely on Google map. Ask locals to reach there. Temple premises neat & clean. And you would feel a divine experiences on that premises. Main Deities are Maa Maha Kali along with Maha Laxmi & Maha Saraswati. Also have Vaitak Bhairav temple. As per mythology, Mata Gauri transformed herself into Maha Kali in this place and wore skull-garland after killing the Asuras/demons.

Kankali Devi temple, dedicated to Maa Kali in the form of skeleton, as described in 11th chapter of Durgasaptashati (Markandeya Puran) Shivashiv Samooh Awadhoot Ashram, a center point (Bindu) of naturally formed Shri Chakra, Near Gerua Talab. The place where, Maharishi Lalbhatta Maharaj attained Nirvikalpa samadhi. Awadhoot Kripanandnath continued this lineage. Samooh celebrates its foundation day on the pious occasion of Basant Panchmi every year. Saadhna shivirs are organised by samooh on different occasions at this place.
