Kanhirangad Toddy Bar - Restaurant in Kanhirangad, Kuttiyeri - Kannur, India

Poor dining facility. No seperate dining space for families. Ambience quite inappropriate. Unhygienic toilet and dining space weren't kept clean. Service was quick. Chicken/Beef/Pork items were average. They're prepared from somewhere and served here..so the freshness is lot...most of them were served cold.. lacking the hot and spicy nature. Fish items weren't fresh. Not recommended Overall an average experience. Pricing was quite low compared to the other shops. One time visit recommended

The toddy is not at all nice. Having said that I can't end this without praising the amount of effort they put in creating all these dishes with such convection. Usually the food items get over before evening so it's always better to go before afternoon.

Serving a variety of wonderful and tasty dishes, and also Toddy, with spacious seating ,family room is also available, (if you are looking for well neet and hygienic you can better look any other place, because it's a toddy bar,) but the quality and quantity of food is awesome

Toddy is no good. Just like water. Food is fantastic and good price.

Two Good changes happened in 21st century are, tobacco makers started food products and toddy shops became family restaurants. Well, Kanhirangad (shall be pronounced as "Kaanjirangaad") toddy shop is one among them. Bigger and Spacious interior, separate places for privacy .. well, good ambience altogether. However, please don't expect a star bar cleanliness or hygiene. Taste of food is typical (don't know about toddy) spicy and hot as they are primarily meant for drinkers. Don't expect a star restaurant taste as well. However, the taste is really good and worth. The most interesting thing is cost. It is so cheap I would say, while comparing to any restaurant around. And the variety of dishes were amazing. Never miss a chance to have food in a toddy shop in Kerala.
