I had visited this temple in 2012. This is one of the oldest temples of Raipur region situated near Burah Talab. This temple is dedicated to Lord Ram. The inner walls of the temple are beautifully painted with the scenes of Ramayana. The temple got its name from Saint Bhalabhadra Das who stayed here and survived only on milk.

This is a temple in the heart of Raipur city which takes one to the travel in time.The architecture gives us a glimpse of the glorious past of the region and also a peep into the lifestyle of a rural monastery right in the middle of the city.The temple building is very old but still has a majestic look and strength. The young and old men who live here are carrying a bit of our culture even today with the same dedication and purity. A must visit place in Raipur city if you have a couple of hours to spare.

All Hindu festivals are celebrated here with joy, the founder of this temple Mahant Balbhadra Dasji was ardent devotee of lord Hanuman, he only consumes milk hence name Dudh-aahari means person who takes only milk. Script of Ramayana is engraved in the walls of this temple.

Very old Temple made by RAJA JAIT in 17th century. Government and the people need to conserve this heritage site. It is in critical state. Main deity is LORD RAM as it is said LORD RAM stay here during their excile period.

One of the oldest temple in the city. Read the story about the temple: The temple was established by Balbhadra Dasji during his stay in Raipur. However, the date of his Raipur stay is still not unavailable. However, it is believed that the temple was constructed by King Jait singh during the 17th century. Shri Balbhadra was an ardent devotee of Lord Hanuman. He used to worship a stone considering it as Lord Hanuman himself. It is believed that a cow called `Surhi 'would pour the milk on the idol. Mahantji would consume that milk as a Prasad. Since then, he became Dudh-Aahari, meaning a person who consumes only milk as food. That's why it's called Dudhadhari Math-It is fascinating to see, beautifully engraved scenes from Ramayana on the temple walls. As per a folklore, Lord Ram had stayed at this place during his exile period.
