You can definitely go to this resort when in Kanha. I believe its the first resort after the buffer zone. The rooms are very big, can definitely accommodate 4 to 5 people. They are clean and they have all the facilities mentioned. They have a swimming pool, gym and indoor games. They also serve good food and their service is also nice.
I had a wonderful stay at this resort! The room was comfortable, the food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. Highly recommended!
The resort is very nicely built in the middle of jungle. Property is well maintained including rooms. The food at the restaurant was delicious, with a great variety of options to choose from. Resort is having all amenities like swimming pool, game room with billiards, carom and adventure activities like Zip line, plank bridge, climbing wall, side net etc. Overall we had a great stay at the resort.
Worst experience worst food no service... Even food not available in sufficient quantity pool side very dirty there is no maintenance.
Very well maintained property. Staff are very cordial. Adventurous sports are available alongwith a swimming pool. Rooms are quite spacious. Nothing to worry about. Staff look after all your amenities.
I had mixed experiences of the stay here. I travelled with my family and parents. The rooms are big and spacious. The property is well maintained including rooms. Staff is local so don't expect very quick/quality service. Staff is responsive to your requests with the best of their capabilities. Checkin and checkout is smooth. There is a swimming pool which I didn't use coz of chilli weather. The river is at walkable distance and Mukki gaye is 900 mts as well. Nothing much to do near property. There are paid adventure activities one can go with. The hotel had arranged local trribal dance in the evening of baiga tribe. It was fun. Food is very basic. Again made by the locals so don't expect fancy stuff. The food served is decent and hygienic. I had opted for an all meals inclusive package. Now the worst part. The other guests staying there were all locals and it seems a trend is going on of Karaoke with big amplifiers. I had planned for morning safari and 3 different groups late in the night started singing. One of them took a pause when we harshly told them to stop. There was a drunkard who kept on going with loud music till 03:00 am. We couldn't sleep the whole night.
The 'Kanha Medows Retreat' is a wonderful value for money proposition for any set of people visiting the Kanha reserve from Mukki gate. The staff is very cooperating and services are very good. Hospitality is being kept as priority. There's a nice pool good in size and depth, and yes it's maintained very clean and offers good ambience as well. Besides, you get lots of activity & sports options.
Only the food is good here. People here were talking about good rooms and so I went here but the rooms are absolutely horrible. The beds are not comortable and the bedsheets were not clean. The floor was not clean and the room was cold as compared to the outside environment. The floor is always moist there. You wouldn't feel like walking barefoot in that room. No heating system as well. Rooms are in no way comfortable. Service is decent. But definitely not a 3 star hotel in any way.
Visited the property on 28/29/31 January The Hosts were great . Staff trained well ,polite and warm. food was curated thought it was a buffet and make to our liking We were literally pampered. Whatever we asked for was provided. Property was well ma
