Kanha Jungle Lodge - Kanha National Park - Lodge in Manjitola - Balaghat, India

Visited the property on 28/29/31 January The Hosts were great . Staff trained well ,polite and warm. food was curated thought it was a buffet and make to our liking We were literally pampered. Whatever we asked for was provided. Property was well maintained . Rooms great . all our comforts were taken care off They made a dining experience in the forest which was a highlight Break fast packed for our Safari with hot water bags, blankets to keep us warm. Best experience we had in terms of Hospitality Will surely go back to this place

Its one of the beautiful and serene place to be with very good hospitality from staff. They have comfortable rooms, with quite a number of amenities including hot water bags. We really loved the place. Food is good, they serve freshly made juices in the breakfast We had a good stay there at a reasonable cost

An amazing place for a authentic safari experience. The place is truly exclusive with a limited number of cottages, surrounded by a forest of Sal trees with its own share of birds including woodpeckers, owlets and a host of other birds that take you right in to the heart of the jungle. If you are addicted to OTTs, Social networks and need some serious detox then this is the place. There is ZERO signal, except the common area where there is a WiFi just in case you need some contact with civilisation. The lodge is close to the Banjar river and one can go for a good nature walk around the villages. The Mukki gate is very close and one of the best gates to enter and experience the jungle. KJL has some good naturalist and Urjit who was with us for our entire 3 days is absolutely brilliant. We were keen to look at birds (would recommend to experience the entire range of wildlife rather that just look out for the Tiger!) and he being an avid border himself he was absolutely brilliant. (BTW we did manage to spot a tiger!) Hospitality is top class with personal attention and every small detail is attends to. The rooms are spacious and clean and well maintained. In winter this place would be heaven! I would most certainly recommend this place.

Wonderful experience. The staff treated us like royalty. As Americans we were not used to the Indian food so they went out of the way to cater to our needs. We did several safaris and they always made sure we not only had what we needed but also anything we could have wanted. The spa was excellent and made our trip that much better. Sitting around the fires at night talking with the manager and staff about the area and culture was a true highlight.

Fabulous place for a perfect holiday amidst nature. I booked this place for my family for weekend getaway. My family had a great stay and they were short of words to describe the hospitality that they got. Great food and amazing room. It has all you need for a comfy holiday. Staffs were very warm with their approach and helpful always. You just feel like you at home and they know you from very long. It is on the expensive side but it is worth every penny. Highly recommended if you are looking to have a relaxing time amidst serenity and experience good hospitality.

We recently had the absolute privilege of staying at Kahna Jungle Lodge, I say a privilege as everything we experienced from the wildlife in the park, the naturalists (guides), amazing staff, the lodge itself and authentic meals was tremendous. It definitely does not feel like you are staying in a lodge, rather one is made to feel incredibly at home. Tarun, Dimple and their Team have created a beautiful atmosphere with the lodge uniquely tucked into the Sal Tree forest. If you are one with a thirst for knowledge, you are able to wonder around learning about the different trees and plants. Dimple is deeply passionate about butterflies, moths, spiders and all things creepy crawly, and we could see it was a great joy for her to share her passion with us. The forest is very peaceful and for anyone wanting to spend time in a serene space surrounded by nature, this is it. Each member of staff could not have made us feel more welcome and at home. Freshly brewed homemade teas were always on offer and quite incredibly, during our 12 night stay, we did not eat the same dish twice. Every meal was delicious and during our stay we were able to sample cuisine from many different parts of India. Everything is homemade and all ingredients were locally sourced, which we loved. The dining area was also often thoughtfully moved around the property so that we often had a change of scenery. The highlight of our time in Kahna National Park was not only the wildlife in the park, but the time spent with incredibly passionate and knowledgeable guides. Thank you Tarun and Vynod! It was incredible observing the skill of both our guides as they made use of sound, knowledge of each tiger's range, habits and movements as well as intimate knowledge of the park whilst looking for the sometimes elusive tiger. They also brought the jungle alive and we left with a greater understanding of the complex ecosystem here as well as an appreciation for all the creatures that call Kahna home. It has been 11 years since we last visited India and we were also very impressed as to how the level of guiding of the National Park's guides has improved, and also the fact that conservation of the park and its wildlife is first and foremost. They were also very passionate about the wildlife and we particularly enjoyed that for many of them, their knowledge extended to the birds and trees as well. The reservations team from Tiger Resorts in Delhi organised the details of our stay and we found them to be very helpful and pleasant to deal with. We arrived as guests but we absolutely felt that we left as friends after a special time spent in a exceptional place with fantastic people. Thank you!!

The location is A1 as it's very near to Mukki gate as it's the gate to core zone. Secondly rooms are nest adn clean, spacious room with balcony. Large washroom and luxury 4/5 star feel. Property is neat and clean and it has desi touch, gobr se liipaa huaa raastaa eNdd ddaainiNg eriyaa - it gives so cool calm feel can't wait explain. The best part is owner stays in the property, so it's so well maintained. And food is like super awesome. Sonthe team/staff member are also very polite. Just one drawback there is no network there, jio is available at times but if you request at reception they will give u one dabba phone to connect at reception. As they donot have room phones to call for any help/service. ghr ke baahr ghr kaa khaanaa, deshii khaanaa /

Great weekend all close to nature. The place is amazing. The staff was very helpful and cooperative. Food was also amazing with different variety served everyday. One can enjoy there playing indoor games, doing cycling and especially the nature walk where you get to see different varieties of birds and plants. Service was also top notch from hot towels, welcome drinks being served at the entrance to serving hot water bottles to warm our beds at night. Will be soon coming again for this hospitality.
