Top rates better go along with ur mothers or some other person who can bargain well. last week i went along with my friend and asked for a saree and they told me that its 4500/- and the final price is 3600/- . But my friend bought it for 2000/-.

Nice place to buy series. You can see kanchipatu series here. But you should bargains to get reliable prices. Bargain may less one by fourth of that sary price.

Nice market, you will get good quality of sarees at low price, but have to be concious while checking quality and bragaining...

heavy crowded place no parking space. no cleanliness, people keep on pestering about purchase of silk sarees. it is one of the dirty place, next to the street is big drainage passes. Kanchipuram is a temple city they could have maintained in high standards. i saw many foreigner vising this city in front of them we still look developing nation.

Get silk and pattu sarees at a far lower price than in the super big malls...u can get 5000 pattu saree at a price of 2000.. But finding the right shop is your job
