As described in other reviews, taste is good. I tried mutton chukka , kuska and parotta. Parotta is usual. Mutton chukka masala and spices is good. Kuska felt like a briyani. That Pudina chutney taste was unique. Can try this place for sure. Price is reasonable.
This shop is my childhood favourite. I was not able to visit this place for several years as I moved to Chennai. Visited this place recently in 2020 and found the taste to be just the same as it used to be before. It brought back many nostalgic memories. Their kushka is very tasty has a unique flavour, SET (kothu parotta) is just awesome & oora vacha parotta is too good. Varuval and brain fry are must try sides. The highlight of the shop is the salna which is so flavourful and tasty. Above all the price is very nominal.
Best hotel with quality food and cheap price .we tried kuska, mutta veech, ding dong,kothu parota all are awesome in taste. Every food is like home made but if you want pleasant ambience this place is not for your's choice
Super Parotta, salna and brain fry. Must try for everyone. I reside in Kerala but always missed the salna that you get in madurai. Super taste. Carrying parcel for my wife. I hope it remain safe in AC train. Don't judge the hotel by it's size.
In my childhood very tasty and that yellu chutney very tasty. But now a days taste very average only. If they continue in their own style means they will become like a kumar mess and sulthan
The taste of kandapillai parotta stays in my heart for more than 2 decades. Used to visit the hotel with my father from my childhood. My personal favourite is their "Malli chutney" (Black) with a lite burnt flavour is very good combination for both parotta and kushkha ! The gravey they provide are the most favourite to my whole family in Madurai.
For the past 20 years customers have had nothing to say always great food and not affect your health any more even if you have dinner at 11.00pm
