We stayed for one day. The food was awesome tasty . The room service was good they responded fast for our request. There good parks and dam near the place to visit. Overall experience was good.
Went with family, taking 2 rooms, one with 2 bedrooms and another a single bedroom. Overall the rooms are ok, spacious with clean sheets and the place itself was very clean. The location is excellent, by the side of the main road and next to the river, but was still very quite since there was very less traffic on road. Our attempt at fishing was a fail :-), but was quite peaceful in doing so. You can sit along the side of the river and fish. The food was spectacular, they made everything that we asked for. We asked for kerala dishes and all of them were made to perfection. The cost was very reasonable, very low relative to other hotels. The service was also excellent, the people there were super responsive and responded within a couple of mins for everything we asked for. Overall the stay was very good and would definitely recommend this place to anybody staying in thenmala.
Kandamath Heritage Resort is a great place to stay with family and friends as they provide good hospitality with neat and well maintained rooms and delicious traditional keralite food.The cottages offer river view which is pleasant and relaxing. In the evening we were able to enjoy a joyful, laughter-filled BBQ session with friends and family. Overall, we highly recommend the resort to all as you'll truly enjoy your stay!
I had a good experience at Kandamath Heritage Resort in Thenmala! From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the serene beauty of the surroundings. Great place for a family or friends vacation. Located on the banks of Kallada river, it serves as a perfect place to relax and enjoy the nature. Friendly staff and delicious Keralite cuisine. Resort owner is always accessible and took care of us by addressing our concerns. Price is also cheap and all the attractions are nearby.
It was located in calm place with river side view. From every room balcony we can see the river view it was so beautiful . They keep everything clean and the whole ambience were too good . We enjoyed the stay in kandamath . We worried how the food will be for kids, but they actually provide a very tatsy food . All atlast we had a nice peaceful stay.
Pathetic... The rooms are super congested. Towels and bedsheets are not washed. Property is located on the main road and noisy. Food is ok. But expensive. You can have food at local shops which is very nice. Cockroaches are found in the bathroom. I don't recommend this property for a pleasant stay.

Excellent place cool off your mind. Nice cool water to swim. Take extreme care while entering to lake because there are hidden caves which is very dangerous. Also there are many crystal pieces are in the lake which cause deep cut in your feet. Small
