You can get a cup of hot coffee or tea. There is a restaurent just below the place you can have some food there. The place is a bliss. The view of the kanchanjangha is breath taking.

Need to start early as the place is visited by many tourists so it's better to reach early and be at a proper view point. There are many people having telescopes set up to view Kanchenjunga closely. It's chargeable of course. But it's beautiful and one must watch it. Even without a telescope the view is beautiful when the sun rays fall on Kanchenjunga.

You can have beautiful views of Kanchanjangha and Himalayan mountains from here if the sky is clear. Best view can be found during winter.

I can sit here for hours, great place with great views if you want to spend time watching the mountains, I will recommend visiting Darjeeling around Dec-Jan if you want to have good views of the mountains as the skies are mostly clear all the time during this time
