The palace is reconstructed as per the original architecture. Great maintenance. It has a library, where one can see all the works of Kanakadasa, and all the best books about Dasa sahitya movement. One can buy the books as well.

Beautiful place, well maintained by the people. There is museum like posters inside depicting life and work on Kanakadasa.

This is the palace of Saint and Kannada Philosopher Kanaka Dasaru. This place has lots of history. This place has been renovated and well maintained. Entry fee is INR 20 per person.

Lot of meaningful paintings and stanzas of Thimmappanayaka/Kanakanayaka/ Kanakadasa in the palace are fabulous & remembered for ever.

It is a replica of the original palace of the great kannada poet kanakadasa, which he built after finding hidden wealth in the earth. It is a beautiful place with very good oil paintings depicting various works and life events of kanakadasa. The place is clean and well maintained. It is free of cost.

Well maintained Palace. Just half KM from main road. Parking space available. Entry fee Rs.20/- per head for adults. I covered this place in return from Karwar to Bangalore through Yellapur route.
