KANAKA SAROVARA LAKE - Tourist attraction in Bengaluru - Bengaluru Urban, India

A place only known to the locals residing here. It has multiples entries which are not well marked on the maps as well and a person visiting for the 1st time would find it difficult to identify the right road to the entrance. The lake is huge and one complete round of the lake is around 4km but one drawback is that the full round cannot be completed as there is a washed out ground at one point which has cut off the both sides. The lake could be well maintained as the drainage water is directly being dumped into the lake and the canals around the lake are also left open and the place smells a lot. Birds can be found here and maybe if the lake is well maintained, we could see the ecosystem to flourish here.

A beautiful place to walk around and to do exercise and yoga. Although it smells very bad in a few spots while taking a complete round... But still it's a good place to visit. Be careful when you plan to take a complete round as they have dug in one place and you have to come back all the way back so far.

The lake is a perfect place for a walk or for relaxing but the thing is that the surrounding is so stinky from one side that at times it feels like you will start vomiting. You should follow the 2nd entry/exit via 8th cross road to visit this place.

One of the most beautiful lakes around Bengaluru. Being a bit far from the crowded places in the city, it's generally empty and the nathual environment can be experienced better. The water and surrounding walking trails are clean. The gardens are well-maintained with beautiful flowers all around. There are different types of birds, the enviroment is so calm and noise-free that you can actually hear the birds chirping. Be careful with the entry poins shown in google maps. While it shows 3 points of entry, only one was open when I visited. The open point is one for which this review is written.

In the morning, you can enjoy a breathtaking sunrise accompanied by the chirping of birds and the gentle breeze rustling through the leaves. One downside is the slight odor from the nearby septic tank and waste water treatment plant, but this should not deter you from visiting this otherwise idyllic spot. I highly recommend this for both casual time and morning walks. It's a great place to relax and recharge, or to simply soak up the beauty of the natural world.

It was indeed a discovery for us to find this amazingly serene place amidst the crowd. Beautifully maintained lake with greenery surrounding it ,the chirping birds and the burbles of the stream beside could be the perfect location for a either a leisure walk to spend an evening or to burn few calories early in the morning. Open from 5 -9 am in the Morning and evening 4-7 pm.

It's too big lake approx 5km radius around the lake. Walk way is not completely paved, but good for walking in the morning and evening time. Lake have Two entrances gates. Some places you me feel uncomfortable with bad smell of drain water. Overall it is good for walking.
