Kanak Vrindavan Park - Park in Jaipur - Jaipur, India

A good place to relax but I won't recommend to go there if you are tourist. There are other better options to explore than going to a park. But if you are looking for pre-wedding shoot,you can visit this park. Overall a beautiful place to relax.

Good picnic spot mostly used for shooting videos and photos. Dresses were available for rent. Beautiful built in valley surrounded by nature having lush greenery near Amar Fort. Location for Bollywood movies having unique trees and fountains along with decorated works.

Kanak Vrindavan is a garden in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. It is built in a valley surrounded by Aravali hills and is located on the way to the Amer Fort at the bottom of the Nahargarh hill. The place is approx 8 km north of the Jaipur city.[1] The garden complex is having many nearby tourist attractions as the Amer fort Palace, Jaigarh fort and Nahargarh fort along with much lush greenery. The garden was coined by Kachchwaha Rajput Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh of Jaipur, approximately 275 years ago, at the time when the complex was built. It includes term 'Vrindavan' as the garden resembles the descriptions of the place, where God Sri Krishna had performed MahaRaas near Mathura, and word Kanak came from Maharaja's one of the Maharani Kanakde.[2] This garden is compared to the valley of Vrindavan and the maharaja, consecrated an idol of Sri Krishna in a temple in the Kanak Vrindavan valley called the Shri Govind Deoji Parisar. The garden has a temple, a series of fountains and intricate marble decorations. It is managed by the Government of Rajasthan.

Well maintained and peaceful, away from all the crowded places. Entry fee is way too much for the park. 25 rs per head. Washroom and drinking water facility is available in the park.

Great and a calm place to roam around with your family or loved ones! Also Pre Wedding shoots can be done here for Rs.2000.

Very Beautiful Garden.. the Entry Fee is 40 Rs per Person. All types of Parking are available. People can also carry their kids..Because there are a lot of thing for the Children in Park. Many types of flowers are seen blooming. Peacocks can be seen walking and dancing. Overall a good place for Family, Couple and also for Singles to spend the quality time.

Just a small garden with some fountains. Nothing else is there in this park. I don't know why they are even charging for the entry ticket when there is nothing in this park. Some of the fountains are also closed or non-functional.

Three sites with similar names exist side by side. This is Kanak Bagh, Kanak Ghat and Kanak Vrindavan are further up the hill. Maintained by a private organization, they charge Rs25/person and dont open before 9 A.M and there's a free parking outside. I had a wonderful time enjoying the Persian Char Bagh garden set with Rajasthani architectural motifs. Very rare to see the fountains in such wonderful gardens working and here one can actually see how the beauty of the garden existed when it was built for the Royal family. If you enjoy peace and quiet and just breathe in the fresh air framed by gorgeous architecture then this is the place for you.
