Kanai Barashi Rock Inscription - Historical landmark in Guwahati - Kamrup, India

It is on off the ancient rock inscription in assam It is has a great historical value to the assam history but now the rock are naturally destroyed so we should preserved the place and make this place a tourist attractions spot

This rock incription of Ahom dynasty is in dilapidated condition. Authority concerned need to look after the valuable manuscript to preserve our past history. Moreover steps need to take to convert this beautiful place into a tourist attraction.

The 'Kanai Barasi' Rock Incription site is located on the northern bank of the river Brahmaputra lying by the side of a motor able road at a distance of about twenty five kilometers from the Guwahati. The site lies on a low hillock on the bank of the river Brahmaputra with scattered pieces of boulders and a large block of rock surrounded by other smaller blocks. But the saddest part is that the place is in a very dilapidated condition and there was no one to look after the place and to maintain the place.
