Kanagan Lake - Lake in Puducherry - Pondicherry, India

Earlier, the lake was so good that boating also happened. Now totally wasted and polluted. A few days ago, the sunset was so beautiful that I added a few pictures for you to view and enjoy. The government should take steps to keep it a clean and usable place. Most of the locals use this walking area only.

Nice breeze across the lake when you walk along the path on the boundary. However, cleanliness needs to be maintained.

Very nice place to Relaxing with friends and family Biggest lake in Pondicherry. I recommend this place for morning walking.

The lake getting polluted by drainage discharge government should want to take some action to keep clean they want to dig the mud out and to put some native fishes and to make some water sports CM Rangaswami sir want to make some changes to the lake because this is one of the pondicherrys beauty

Please maintain this place as a human and to government make it tourist place keep it clean

Can be maintained better. Boating facilities available only during the season time. You can take a walk on the pavement during the mornings. No one cleans the pavement properly though. But the roads surrounding the lake are clean and proper. Safe to avoid this area at night.

Requires Governance. Medical wastes have been spill into lake as I smelt it. I don't think it's safe and there are Residents surrounding this lake. How can a Hospital be built near Residential area. Its agreeable but Medical wastes should be Transported and should be spill in land away from Residents.
