Kamteshwari Rajmata Temple (Bhitar Kamta) - Hindu temple in Bhitar Kamata - Coochbehar, India

This Temple is an ancient and famous temple in Cooch Behar. This temple has been established by Maharaja Pran Narayan. It will be worth to notice the architectural styles of the temple. At the gate a "Tarakeswar Sivalinga" exists. This temple is now maintained by Devatra trust of Cooch Behar. This temple is situated at Goshanimari a distance of about 17 KM from Dinhata town. A large number of festivals are observed here. Very nice and peaceful place. A must visit place.

U can go any day for worshipping, every time PANDITS r available at there. Peaceful temple, really it is a nice tourist place also. Just u need to go coochbehar _ dinhata_ and from there goshanimari bazar, walk for 5min u will get it, thank u visit here u won't regrate.

Old historical place...kamteshwari temple is very old temple...it is situated opposite to the gosanimari high school...jaldhaka river ( manshai river) not so far from this temple...this place is 30 minutes away from DINHATA. Anyone can visit this historical place..

It's nice place. And it's called "MAA Kanteswari mandir" in Bengali language. This temple beside on Gosanimari, P.s- Dinhata..
