Kammasandra Lake - Featured Reviews (56)
The Kammasandra lake is very polluted and the water is dark green. There is no proper access to the lake, the lake bund which has a road running nearby is totally overgrown with trees and bushes and impractical to walk on. The space where the water overflows out of the lake is the only accessible spot. Other access areas are through private properties. Lots of labour colonies around the lake - no points in guessing where the sewage comes from. Garbage is also strewn around the lake. Birds spotted: Eurasian coot, Black Kite, Little Grebe, Swamphen, Jungle Mynas etc. The lake needs attention from authorities and citizens around the area ..
Now it is under processing but its look very good, after this works finished, then it will be the best place for bommasandra people
Renovation work is going on
This lake is Mother Nature's gift and see what we humans have done in return!!! Humans are sometimes thier own destructors and paves way for the same. This lake needs attention and everyone should contribute in their own capacity for reviving it. This will definitely help in making this place a healthy place to dwell.
The lake covers a large area which is really good but the water is polluted. People dump their garbages in and around the lake which eventually mixes with the lake.
Not so clean
The lake is very dirty. It deserve to be in better condition.
Full drainage water is there on this lake and bad smell from the lake.
