Few months back temple is renovated. The teample is situated in a tiny village near to Mangalore - karkala highway. Very cool , calm and divine place. The temple is dedicated to Lord Somanatheshwara

This temple is located in a very calm and shaded area. It is surrounded with arcenaut fields making the place very green and provides lots of shade under sun. This temple has a greater element of positive energy within which makes any human being forget his desires while praying to Lord Shri Somanatheshwara. I was blessed to visit this place during Maha Shivaratri. They have neatly mentioned the pathway direction to move around the garbhagudi in a disciplined manner. It has ample of space for parking and a dedicated place for auto-rickshaw. They also have mentioned the phone numbers of local auto rickshaw drivers for immediate access when in need. They are constructing a conventional hall in the temple premises which would be useful for people around to make use of the place for religious events.
