If you're a tourist/local you should definitely visit this place. Kamati baug has something for all the ages. The best thing to visit here is the museum and the picture gallery. The collection is really vast and well maintained. Although the science/biology section needs maintainence. The toy train is great entertainment for the kids as well as the adults. It passes throught he parks and zoo. Theres a floral clock and planeterium too. The place has parks with swings etc, jogging and walking track. Loved how they have renovated the aviary and it offers a close encounter with the birds. The zoo however was a total disappointment, only a few animals. Overall a very good experience. Every attraction has timings and entry fees.

Kamati Baug Vadodara is truly a majestic garden with lots of fun One can have a great long walk on weekends and enjoy a picnic in nature The flora is very beautiful with lots of flowery plants and exotic trees They also have a train track to go around the park The entrance to the main area is 30/= per adult, but they also have a small garden in front area which is free The bird sanctuary shall cost You 50/= on top of the entrance A small zoo having variety of crocodiles, Hippo, lioness, tiger, leopard, gazelles etc There is a small snack place where one can have a good variety of snacks drinks and ice-cream We went on the Sunday and it was great to see a large turnout there A wonderful picnic spot in nature
