Kamath Restaurant - Vegetarian restaurant in Gonikoppa - Kodagu, India

A Simple and Very small Restaurant which is inside a Bakery & General Store, Just opposite to Gonikoppal Private Bus Stand. Might not be noticed as a Restaurant. But they have a Pure Vegetarian Restaurant. The Food is ok and worth for the money paid. Not too expensive but moderately priced. Ambience is not that great. They should try to maintain or make better interiors. Nearly 12-15 tables in the restaurant. They do have Mangalore Buns which is a specialty of Mangalore. Breakfast they have multiple items and good. Meals are available. They should try to improve the quantity as well as ambience of the restaurant.

Restaurant is located inside a general provision store, easy to miss while passing by. Average place with average food. Don't expect hygiene or quality there. Went there only because of pure vegetarian options. But the owner tried to fleece me. Charged Rs. 50 for a plate of 2pc Idli.

Tastes more like a typical home food, rather than a fancy taste. More light would be good inside.!

If your looking for best of vegetarian food it's an good option, but the ambiance is not that good

Not well maintained. Not up to the mark neither the taste nor hygiene and no value for money utterly expensive for the ambience.

Kamath pure veg, good food will be available for vegetarians.
