I recently visited this chat shop in Mangalore and had the opportunity to try a few of their popular dishes. Overall, the experience was mixed, with some hits and misses. Starting with the masala puri, I found the taste to be average. While the flavors were there, I felt that the dish lacked a certain depth. However, I believe that if they improve the curry accompanying the puri, it could greatly enhance the overall taste and make it more enjoyable. On the other hand, the charmuri at this chat shop was brilliant. The blend of flavors and textures in this dish was simply delightful. The mixture of puffed rice, chopped vegetables, tangy chutneys, and spices worked together harmoniously to create a delicious and refreshing snack. As for the sev puri, I found it to be average. While it had the essential elements such as sev, chutneys, and toppings, it didn't quite stand out compared to other sev puris I've had. It lacked that wow factor that would make it memorable. In summary, the masala puri could benefit from an improvement in the curry to enhance its taste. However, the charmuri stood out as a brilliant dish with its well-balanced flavors. The sev puri, though average, could use some refinement to make it more memorable. Please note that taste preferences can vary from person to person, so it's always best to try it for yourself and form your own opinion.

My daughters phool muddi was held at Sri bhuvanendra hall on 14 th November 19 and marriage Sri T Ramana pai hall on the 15 th of November 19. Kamath Caterers was the agency and they did a very good job and met our expectations 100% plus by providing 100% tasty authentic konkani style food. Since we were from Bangalore , we were assured and told not to worry about food part and truly they handled our function so well that we were free from food arrangements and we felt at home due to their support and support from decorators and marriage hall teams . We thank all in this review even though lately , we thank all those with whom we dealt for this function, people of kodial big big thank you.

My expectations were reduced to zero when I saw the quality and quantity did not meet the standards I had hoped for. Normal chat items are average but churmuri being their showstopper is overpriced and doesn't come special. Avoid unless you know no other options nearby.

I have been a regular here since I was a little kid, I and my whole family loves the sev puri they serve here it costs 30/- and it's our favorite, they also Churmuri right next chats, there's also a juice outlet in the same shop, so the norm is you have chat or Churmuri something really hot and spicy and top it with a cold fresh fruit juice of your choice, it's in the heart of the city always buzzing. Finding a place to park your vehicle is a task, but its wroth it.

I tried raja masala and it was quite good, worth 35/-. Raja masala is a mix of masala peanuts and other vegetables with some spices.

Kudla da charmuri boda, Kamath's pole... One of the best places to eat Charmuri in Mangalore. You also get Mango & Cucumber pachudi here, one other must try is Raj special (made from rajma)..
