Good one opens around 7.30. good one in ilkal. Leave Chitradurga at 5 come here for brkfst. Typical local style. Worth the visit.

Kamat Restaurant at Ilkal, opposite to ST stand, nice place for food...breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, south Indian dishes; all are good...near to ST stand so quickly one can have and carry on his journey. Hygiene is very well maintained. Overall experience is very good. Quick service and always freshly prepared dishes.
The place is good and the food is above average. But it's mostly crowded. Price is a bit above average but fair. They also have a family room which is air conditioned.
The servers are very understanding. Due to crowd in restaurant we got our food late , because of this as compensation they gave us a cup of ice cream
No doubt for vegetarian food this is the best restaurant. I strongly recommend if you are travelling from Bangalore to Vijayapura.
