Kamat Hotel - Vegetarian restaurant in Hyderabad - Hyderabad, India

I have been going to this restaurant with my family since the late 90s. Not a lot has changed in terms of the taste and consistency especially with the dosa and chutneys. The food is delicious and economical. It is nothing fancy but clean and good homely food. There is valet parking available with the restaurant and the upstairs first floor is the family dining AC section.

For bangalorians/kannadigas this hotel will make them feel home. Food is served quickly and the environment is good. Hotel is kept neat. Car parking provided. Rates normal.

Went for Weekend lunch..Interior have been neatly maintained but Food was not superb ..can try once South Indian food is good don't try varieties.

"Overpriced" is the best word to describe the food served in this hotel.I ordered "special south Indian thali" but The taste is just average. So, don't expect much from this hotel.however there are few good things such as the ambience is really good. it's up to you to decide whether to visit this place or not.

Good food. Taste and quality consistent for the last 40 years that I can remember of. Decor and interiors more in sync with the times.

Good place to have karnataka style of food.. It's very near to Birla temple. We ordered South indian thali, and the quality and quantity were good.. when asked for extra sambar and rasam.. they happily served it. Overall good experience and worth for money for South indian meals, which costs around 180 rs.

Veg restaurant just at the bottom man road of Birla Mandir temple, walkable distance. We tried Veg Dosa and Masala Dosa and the taste was very good!! All south indian dishes available there. Cost is nominal for the quality/taste of the food

We had breakfast and dinner here. If you want to taste some proper mangalore or south Indian dishes then this is the place. It's not spicy. We had ordered idling Vader, south meal, Masada dose rava dose, coffee. Service is available.
