The architecture is excellent and unlike any other open air auditorium in india, its an ambitious project and its indeed promising, the outer wall painting depicts orginal Puducherry heritage however the interiors are incomplete, the Manimandapam has facilities including an open air auditorium and a museum with exhibits depicting the life of former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, K. Kamaraj. The facilities also include a theatre hall, library, and two lecture halls. The auditorium will also be utilised for holding important government functions and convocations of educational institution in Puducherry, the complex will house the IAS, IPS training institutes for backward class students and an office of the Centralised Admission Committee. The delay in the completion of the manimandapam had hampered setting up a training centre for students of backward classes appearing for the competitive exams. The training centre could not be accommodated because the structure is delayed. All other important components, including the library for students, have come to a grinding halt because of the delay in completing the structure interiors.

Ambience is good. Location is good. Salt water in wash rooms. civil engineering should have paid more attention in restroom floor leveling . AC was not working.

Very bad it iis very shame to pondicherry state, because building is superb but there is no electirical service. The government should take immediate action to rectify the problem. I like to remember that the building was constructed in the money of people's tax.
